This is a simple pencil test of the flour sack jumping for joy! There's not much business going on other than the jump. One thing I'm going to be working on in the near future is to make these tests more emotional - to try and show some "thought" before an action. Also, this is only animated at 12 fps, I probably need to bump it up to 24 fps so I can get smoother action.

Jimmy,
Another good example, bravo. Some suggestions try to think about 3/4 of the sack being full of sand and imagine how that sand shifts about as the sack tries to move. It starts shifting slowly until it reaches a tipping point then gravity takes over and it shifts its weight quickly. Also, give the viewer more time to understand what is happening by making use of "holds" and longer more sweeping anticipation and follow through. Keep it up you are making great progress. -JK
Also, try doing some of these using different view points and perspectives so that you are gaining experience working in 3D space drawing solid objects and not just outlines. Move your "camera" into other positions so to speak. Don't forget to draw through the forms so that you are clear where even the hidden lines would be located, this helps you to think in terms of 3D shapes but also stay focused on the forces that cause the forms to move. Just some additional suggestions to consider.-JK
JK, thank you for your comments. I have no problem hearing criticism so please don't hold back. I watch the pencil tests I've done and know there are problems. But I have trouble with figuring outwhere to start with making corrections. So in that light, I *really* appreciate your suggestions.
